Prep Reflection 20/11/2020

20/11/2020

Today in prep I realized that Sophia and I have improved a lot today because we made around 7 scrunchie and that means we should have around 9 scrunchies so next friday we need to work very hard and maybe even during the whole entire lunch if we are allowed.

Today in prep we did face some challenges with the sewing area of the day, Today we struggled with the fred, finding some fabric for our scrunchies and we also struggled to focus a little bit.

Today Sophia and I learnt how to sew the end of the scrunchie together without it kind of showing!
Sophia and I have not spent any money to make our product yet so basically we will be making a complete prophet if we were to sell them any day soon but we are planning to go to town to buy some bags to package the scrunchies in.

Prep Reflection.

 13/11/2020

Today in PREP sophia and I made 3 scrunchies in 1 and a half blocks in the

other half we were planning our strategy.

How long does each scrunchie take to make?

Each scrunchie takes some time usually around 20 minutes including cutting it out.

How many parts to my product?

To make a scrunchie first you cut out a rectangle to your liking size.

Then you fold it in half and sew it so it looks like a tube

Now you fold it inside out and place the elastic inside this tube and sew each end together!

What did we do today overall?

Today we made 3 scrunchies in total...

We also found a new fabric of our liking and we will proceed to use this fabric until we need to get some more! Today mrs francis showed sophia and I how to sew the remaining ends together, so you can not see where we sew the ends together once the scrunchie is done!

Reflection and proposal for PREP

What do we need to create scrunchies:

Multiple types of fabric

A roll of elastic

Our goal is to produce 30 scrunchies before market day

Today we made a start to our scrunchies and created one completely and 6 others that just need elastic.

Almost Famous

 3/11/20

Today in almost I worded on a task called the genre and we are comparing songs and song cover and describing the differences.

We had to compare the original songs to covers because the covers and the original had different genre
